On October 2-4 Bureau Veritas Kazakhstan participated in the Mining Week x MinePro 2024 International MIning Exhibition & Convention, a significant event in Mongolia that featured an expansive real-life work site demonstration area. Representing Bureau Veritas at the exhibition were Ceebu Nair (Area Chief Executive for CIF Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan and Soyolchimeg Erdene-Ochir (Head of PE of BVKIS LLP).
One of the highlights of the event was the valuable information provided by key industry stakeholders and their Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources regarding ongoing and future project developments. Meeting with the Minister was a significant opportunity and we are truly appreciative of his time and the insights he offered. The ministry's perspective were instrumental in helping us identify ways to further support the growth and sustainability of this critical sector. The discussions with other key stakeholders provided us with a clearer understanding of the sector's challenges and opportunities.
Throughout the exhibition, we showcased our comprehensive suite of testing, inspection and certification services which are designed to enhance safety, compliance and operational excellence. Given that the mining industry is among the most hazardous sectors, often operating in remote and challenging environments, it is vital for companies to prioritize quality, safety and economic viability in their projects.
