On June 29, 2022 in Nur-Sultan, the First Green Hydrogen Forum was held as part of the Astana Finance Days - 2022 international conference, supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the panel session with leaders global companies in the green hydrogen industry, the prospects for developing this new sector for the Republic of Kazakhstan were discussed. Within the framework of this session, the signing and creation of the Kazakhstan Green Hydrogen Alliance took place. Representatives from various companies from more than 10 countries worldwide participated in the forum. The event was aimed at exchanging experience and strengthening business connections to discuss cooperation prospects in Green Hydrogen projects.
Bureau Veritas participated in the forum where Askar Amanbay (Head of Industrial Services Department) spoke on the topic - "Reducing risks in the value chain for tomorrow's clean energy".
The Forum was attended by representatives of state authorities at republican and regional levels, oil & gas companies, industry and environmental associations, specialists in ecology and green transformation.
