We are proud to announce the successful completion of a landmark infrastructure project in Kazakhstan. Bureau Veritas Kazakhstan provided comprehensive Project Management and Construction QA/QC services for Alstom's newly inaugurated railway service depot in Shu, Zhambyl region. This facility is the first railway service depot built in Kazakhstan since 1988 and marks the first project completed under the 2023 Investment Agreement between Alstom and the Government of Kazakhstan of 50 million euro for the development of 4 depots throughout the country. The depot will play a crucial role in maintaining KZ4 and KZ8 electric locomotives operated by Kazakhstan Temir Zholy (KTZ) creating 100 skilled jobs and contributing to regional socio-economic development.
Our involvement ensured that the project met the highest standards of quality and safety, aligning with our commitment to excellence in infrastructure development.
